Organic Garden
In bringing together community members, nonprofit and corporate partners, and The Fit and Food Connection team, our community garden services have produced over 1,452 pounds of fresh fruit and vegetables in 2020 as a resource to the surrounding food desert community.
Fit and Food's organic garden provides direct access to fresh food that we wash, pack, and deliver out to our clients in underserved communities through our
Food Assistance & Delivery service.
We also offer a variety of classes and events in the garden, such as Kids Club in the Garden and Meal Prep and Cooking Demonstrations. These classes provide a better understanding to all ages, in learning how our food grows and being able to taste it fresh from the garden. While also learning how to use these ingredients for easy recipes when they get home.
