Building capacity to strengthen the health of our community- from the ground up!
Through 2026, we plan to work alongside neighborhood residents and other community partners to build our capacity and greatly expand our garden footprint. This growth means we'll be able to move our important work forward where it's needed most while prioritizing safety, sustainability, and community engagement.
the St.Louis community needs our help
Here's the Situation
- The community members we serve have little to no access whatsoever to healthy food options in their neighborhood markets.
- Wellness resources are also not available to encourage a healthy lifestyle in these underserved communities.
The Fit and Food Solution
making holistic wellness accessible to our underserved communities
- Fit and Food provides access to group fitness and nutrition classes nearby in local community churches, libraries, and even one-on-one coaching opportunities where we go into the community member's homes and help connect them with the resources they need to get healthy.
- Fit and Food provides access to healthy food options from both our organic garden and through our community partners and then we deliver the food out to our clients in need.
Fit and Food is passionate about increasing our community members nutritious food consumption and to decrease their stress about where their next meal will come from.
Gabi Cole, Co-Founder and Executive Director
